John William Dawson of Brookings is among the 1465 seniors and graduate students to receive degrees at the 82nd annual commencement exrcises at Oregon State college June 4. A record-breaking number of 218 advanced degrees will be con fe r r e d by President A. L. Strand. Of this number, 22 are doctors of philosphy and seven doctors of educt at ion another new record in the number of doctor's degrees conferred in one year. A total of 1247 bachelors of science and bachelors of arts de grees, representing four full years of study will also be conferred.
