Resift with other dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Beat egg until light and foamy and add milk, water, vinegar and melted but ter. Stir liquid quickly into dry ingredients in 18 to 20 seconds. Pour batter instantly into tins and bake in a hot oven (425* F.) 15 to 25 minutes. Yield: 12 muf fins.
