1 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp, melted
butter
Sift flour, then measure. Resift
with other dry ingredients into
mixing bowl. Beat egg until
light and foamy and add milk,
water, vinegar and melted but­
ter. Stir liquid quickly into dry
ingredients in 18 to 20 seconds.
Pour batter instantly into tins
and bake in a hot oven (425* F.)
15 to 25 minutes. Yield: 12 muf­
fins.
