While details are lacking, the word has come to Brookings of the death of Charles Cooper, w ho left here about seven years ago, Death was at Portland. He was formerly associated with the Azalea Garage. Surviving are his widow and two daughters, Eizabeth and Charlene. The All-Year Events Associa tion will hold its annual meeting Sept. 20 at the high school at 8 p. m. All members and inter ested persons are urged to at tend as this meeting is called for election of officers. Gordon Goetz served as president the past year.
