Dick Barklow was elected to a position on the grade school board, Monday, June 19. Mrs .F. G. Boice recent h’ had the good fortune to win a prize in a Cinderella contest at Long view', Wash., where she was vis iting. An overwhelming “no’ vote was the result of the el *ctiqp Thursday night to suspend the local high school and sena the students to Bandon next year, the vote was (unofficially) 33 for suspension and 103 against.
