he was laid to rest on the hill
back of his house in Deer Park.
Some years a ter his older broth­
er, Rev. James B. Greene, was
buried in the same place. The two
brothers had not seen each other
for nearly fifty years, since they
parted at the old home in Ohio.

arrived at Deer Park,

home last Saturday were Mr.

South America. Mr. Moore and
Mr. Brown worked together in
Nebraska several years ago

spend the summer.

Moice, who has been ill at the
Veterans hospital for several
months. They found him to be
much improved so that he had

the summer at Kalam, Wash.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Croston
and sons returned last week from
Toledo, Ore., where they haa vis­
ited for two or three weeks.
Dick Barklow was elected to
a position on the grade school
board, Monday, June 19.
Mrs .F. G. Boice recent h’ had
the good fortune to win a prize
in a Cinderella contest at Long­
view', Wash., where she was vis­
iting.

students to Bandon next year,
the vote was (unofficially) 33 for
suspension and 103 against. An-
other school meeting is to be
held Monday, June 26, for pur­
pose of electing two members to
the high school board and to
complete the budget for the next
able Board of Supervisors, Del
Norte County, Crescent City:

Actions of this kind are harm­
ful to the friendly relations of
neighboring communities,

doubtedly this action was taken
on the spur of the moment with-
out giving much thought as to
its true meaning.
