Ophir high school elected its student body officers for next year: president, Harvey James; vice-president, Tommy Moore; Secretary. Students of Ophir high ob served their annual sneak day on May 10. Points of interest visited were Brookings. Crescent City, Trees of Mystery. Some of them went as far as Eureka. On the way home part of the crew stopped at the new skating rink at Brookings. Ophir girls defeated the Port Orford girls last Thursday m a game of softball. 19 to 13. Frank Moore has purchased a new Fairbanks-Morse motor for' irrrigation purposes.
