Ladies of the Garden Club Caravan, visitors at the Flower Show Saturday afternoon were almost unanimous in their praise of the flower show being made as much a national institution as may be seen at Oakland, at New York, and most any large city. Sidney Armor, artist of national repute, told the Pilot that New York state would give half of its wealth to possess what the west coast, especially this section, boast of. They would certainly put forth capital and effort to make it national in appeal. The azalea festival is not tainted with commercialism it is a display of nature as about only this community knows.
