Doubtless there were other el igible voters, who, like myself, fe lt too tired to attend the meet ing, so stayed at home, assum ing th a t all those who did attend would be there in the interest of education and the continuance of public schools in the Brooktngs- H arbor community. ► W hat amazes me is the fact th a t there are livin g among us enough blind, selfish, greedy, ig norant people to close our schools — if we w ill let them ! Possibly a few of the people who voted j against the budgeW fo r the fiscal school year were m isinformed in regard to the objectives of the voting. I h«pe so.
