lilie s rarely ever met the man
who forced them fo r the florists.
N e ith e r understood the problems:

since learning what happened at
the school house last Monday
evening. I am so filled w ith
amazement and indignation that
I cannot remain silent.
Doubtless there were other el
igible voters, who, like myself,
fe lt too tired to attend the meet
ing, so stayed at home, assum
ing th a t all those who did attend
would be there in the interest of
education and the continuance of
public schools in the Brooktngs-
H arbor community.
►
W hat amazes me is the fact
th a t there are livin g among us
enough blind, selfish, greedy, ig
norant people to close our schools
— if we w ill let them ! Possibly
a few of the people who voted j
against the budgeW fo r the fiscal
school year were m isinformed
in regard to the objectives of the
voting. I h«pe so.
