We have, in the past, given you dates, based on promises of man ufacturers’ shipping dates on materials, still so much needed to build the lines. Making guesses of this kind has caused you, as well as ourselves, great disappointments! W e believe we all had a little too much enthus iasm and high hopes of what the end of the war would do in relieving all difficulties in procuring “ard to get items.” In passing the new poles, installed between Harbor and the state line, on Highway 101, it will be noticed that there are long spaces where poles are missing.
