Hundreds of flower-lovers, not only from all parts of Oregon and California, but from all over the United states, will come in quest of beauty.___________ O ther wild flowers besides the gorgeous and frag ran t Azaleas will greet the local floral guests. The blue lupine w h i c h grows te r * in deeper hues, the golden poppy and the wild ms. violets and wild straw berries which bor- tier southwest Oregon highways will add to the loveliness of the Paciflc coast. The dogwood, and the purple wild lilac which enhance the shin- ing green of the Smith River Canyon make a beautiful ap- proach on Highway 199. while the Oregon Coast has j m m M ^ i" a lo n g w ith th e blue lupine w hich it a sight in itself. Supplementing this Azalea Fes- ttval, the Azalea Garden Club of P7 P,ah ' ing an elaborate display of the choices of garden flowers, from the gardens of Southern Oregon and Northern California. Organizations. as well as indi viduals. will show in a wide v an ity of arrangements, their rare and lovely blooms. Smith River, which has some of the oldest and most outstand- I ing gardens, will be among the displays and the Illinois Garden Club of Cave City Junction, will also add to the loveliness display-! ed. Crescent City and Gold Beach also will share the beauty of all | their gardens.
