CALENDAR A colorful expanse of chalk art will fi ll the streets of Springfi eld this Friday. In its fi rst Chalk Art Festival, the Eugene Springfi eld Art Project will gather together professional chalk artists, giving them six hours to create splashes of artwork. And don’t worry, it’s not just for the pros: Eugene Tutor will provide sidewalk chalk for attendees of all ages and skill levels to doodle to their hearts content.
