WILLAMETTE VALLEY FOLK FESTIVAL MAIN STAGE SCHEDULE OBO ADDY & KUKRUDU FOGHORN STRING BAND Friday, 8pm, Mainstage Friday May 21 4pm Tina and Chad – Indian tabla drumming should put some spring in your step. 5pm Garett Brennan & the EBGB’s – Pulling inspiration from front-porch footstomp and deviant lean-to, stand-up jazz. 6pm Jyemo & the Extended Family - A rootsy body with reggae, rock and African undertones, with a funky finish. 8pm Obo Addy & Kukrudu – A nine-piece ensemble performing original compositions by Obo Addy. Ghanaian percussion and western instruments, crossing afro-jazz, funk, blues and rock. Saturday, 4pm, Mainstage Saturday May 22 12pm Laura Kemp – Eugene’s golden-voiced sweetheart. 1pm The Ovulators – Glam/chick rock with an attitude. 2pm Little Joe – Acoustic bluegrass with fire and drive. 3pm The Raventones – A vibrant melange of surf, soul and folk psychedelics. 4pm The Foghorn String Band – Old time American fiddle tunes and songs. 5pm Vagabond Opera – Jive to Eastern- European, klezmer-influenced jazz and belly dance tunes.
