Highway 26 in the Sandy Marketplace. It features 14 different submarine sandw iches, g arn ish es, soup, salads, desserts and beverages to be eaten there, to be taken out or to be delivered at no extra charge to locations in Sandy. •'You can go anywhere and get a sandwich," says Judy Meador, a veteran in the food business. “ I think our quality and service will make the difference." Judy, 27, speaks from ex perience. She has been employed for 10 years at restaurants owned by herself and family members Their food is made daily from scratch, the oversized cookies and brownies from recipes by Judy’s mother and grandmother "A lot of my soups are my family's recipes," Judy said The restaurant is open from 11 a m. to 7 p m. Mondays through Fridays, 11 a m to 6 p.m. Satur days, and noon to 5 p.m Sundays Delivery hours are 11 a m to 2 p in weekdays The telephone number is 668-8123. They bought their equipment from The Sub Shop, a restaurant chain that had counters and lights installed in its color scheme at the site of Suby’s before deciding against opening there Suby's kept The Sub Shop’s colors of gray and royal blue, since they fit the nautical theme. Matt and Judy said. The Meadors owned The Old Tune Donut Shop and Sandwich Factory in Umatilla for a short time Judy managed her brother’s restaurant.
