Metals students complete projects , Two project! have kept SUHS metal» student» busy lately Seniors Keith Harvey and Dave Lund recently built a cherry picker, used to pull engines out of automobiles Senior Paige Chambers, and s o p h o m o re s J e f f Hilliard, Richard G illum and Gary Massey built a squat rack, a piece of equipment used by weight lifters Lund designed the cherry picker himself, with help from Harvey It can be ta k e n a p a rt an d ran»ported in a space as small as a car trunk Lund purchased the jack and wheels, but otherwise p u rc h a s e d m a t e r ia ls a v a ila b le th ro u g h the school for the personal pro ject.
