An early-morning acci dent ended a high speed run down North B lu ff Road A juvenile was cited for attem pting to elude a police officer and reckless ly endangenng after the car he was driving hit an embankment and rolled over just after 4 a m Tues day morning The driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. Daniels entered the U S Army and served during World War II After discharge in 1945 he took time oil and traveled It was during this time that he met Maude Edmison They later married on July 7, 1948, in Idaho They lived in Minnesota for a short time before moving to Estacada Mr Daniels began work in the logging industry when th ey m oved to Oregon and continued until his retirement in 1971 The Daniels* moved to the Sandy area in 1959 He was a member of an Ap palooM Horse Club and en joyed outdoor activities such as hunting and hiking He is survived by his w ife, M aude, children. James and Ruth Daniels, both of Sandy, David of Boardman, and Robert of Welches his mother, Ruth Daniels of Minnesota, four g r a n d c h ild re n ; fiv e brothers, and one sister He wai □receded in death by a son.
