Thur» Library has idea books for holidays The holidays are nearly here and the Sandy Public Library has a variety of of fe rin g s — m agazine and books—that can provide you with an assortment of ideas for Christmas. If you are planning to perso n a lize y o u r g i f t giving with handmade a r ticles, the library has a number of "how-to’ books with imaginative ideas for gifts for any age There are more than 100 cookbooks and thousands of individual recipes for all types of holi day cooking, including salt- free diets, low-cholesterol diets and other special health needs. New rustic landscaping, interior redesign and a drive-up facility have been months in the making by Woodburn Construction of Woodburn. The office, first built in 1967, w ill be completely redone in a m ountain motif, compatible with the surrounding area Special attention has been given to exterior and in te r io r c o lo rs and materials to achieve har mony with the environ ment. Clackamas County Bank has grown in two years to include a new branch office in Boring and doubling the size of its home office in Sandy which also under went extensive remodeling last year. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Church, Sorrento, B.C., on Nov 27. Interment followed in St .Mary's Cemetery B o rn in E dgew ood.
