" I think that's an indication that we had a pretty fine program " Th«- money for that pro g ra m w ill be re tu rn e d because the program no longer exists Outdoor education fo r s ix th g ra d e rs was eliminated due to the defeat of the B ballot Lund said tha, surveys they've taken about the program have been very positive The school district also w ill not he able to buy two buses, whil-h were on the d istrict's schedule "T hat's the biggest set in false economy you can get yourself into,' he said J'he price of school buses, tie said, is not going down " It's a proven fact that a, a given point in tune a bus can become mechanically unsound to the point ot being unsafe," Lund said " I really don't think anybody wants this district to get itself ,in that kind ot situation " Our buses, he said, aren't unsate "B u , there is a punt in time where you can reach that, and the public had het ter realize tha, " About the defeat of the B t,allots.
