Delinquent tax collections underestimated 16 Delinquent tax collections by the Oregon Department of Revenue are $3 5 million higher than the amount targeted by the Legislature in a special 10-month pro ject The revenue department collected $44 5 million bet ween Sept 1, ltwo and June 30, 1981 The goal was» $41 million The project was establish ed by the special session of the Legislature last summer to help balance the state’s budget Lawmakers wanted the revenue department to collect $10 million beyond the amount normally col lected during the year To meet the goal, the revenue department tern p o ra rily re assigned 39 employees from various parts of the agency to the Collection Division staff R e g in a L e w is Services for Sandy resi dent Kegina E Lewis will lx* held Friday, July 17, at the Sandy Seventh day Adven tist Church. Frederick Sautter of Califor nia and Harold Sautter of Gresham Her husband. Joseph II lx*wis, preceded her in death.
