Thur» Seedlings available to woodland owners Small woodland owners in western Oregon who want forest seedlings for next winters planting can reserve those seedlings from the D L Phipps State Forest Nursery now Shrimp Sunomono <Japanese-stvle salad* 6 ounces tiny Pacific shrimp *2 cup white vinegar 1 tbsp sesame oil * 2 cup sugar 2 tsps salt 1 tsp monosodium glutamate 1 cucumber, thinly sliced 3 stalks celery, diagonally sliced 2 green onions, minced Rinse shrimp with cold water, pa, dry with paper towels Set aside Combine vinegar, sesame oil. sugar, salt and nionosodiuin glutamate, mix well Refrigerate dressing for at leas, one hour before serving to allow flavors to blend Combine shrimp, cucumber, celery and green onion Pour dressing over shrimp and vegetable mixture just before serving and toss Makes four servings i For a light summer entree, in crease shrimp to one pound* To reserve seedlings, lan downers must have fewer than 5,000 acres, manage their land for forest pro ducts, not regularly employ more than 10 persons in the production of lumber and be p lanning the trees fo r reforestation purposes.
