BLM denies runway extension A proposed extension of Country Squire Airpark's runway across federal land near Sandy has tx*en re jected by the Bureau of Land Management Edw ard G. Stauber, BLM Salem d is t r ic t manager, reported that, following a study of the pro posal, he decided that the environmental effects of the project would be too adverse to the residents of the airport area Arthur Skipper.
