POST—7 Keeping posted: G rade school b u d get deliberations set A workshop and honorary tea will be offered to the Sandy Senior Center’s office crew tomorrow, Jan. 16. Volunteers w ill be given an opportunity to share the nature of their duties, as well as make suggestions. Various new social service programs will be explained along with related office procedure. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Local photographic por trait artist Sandi Poutala will present a collection of her works at the center next Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. Her show w ill illustrate various effects that are obtainable through different photographic methods. The second monthly Golden Age Club potluck will take place at noon next Thursday, Jan. 22. Area senior citizens should be reminded that the fuel assistance program is now in full swing. Applications for low income persons who need help meeting the cost of heating bills are now being processed at the center every Wednesday afternoon. Susan Yao, coor dinator of the Clackamas County Well-Baby Clinic, will address the group. The budget committee of Sandy Elem entary School District w ill meet at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of re ce iv in g the budget message and budget document. Deliberations of the committee will take place and any person may appear to discuss the proposed programs. Copies of the budget document are available at the district administration office. The Sandy Animal Clinic will hold a rabies clinic between 5 and 7 p.m. No appointments are necessary. The Baha'i Faith originated in Ira n in 1844. Its basic teachings include the oneness of God, of religion and of mankind. The Baha’i World Center is located in Haifa, Israel. The purpose of World Religion Day is to stress the unity of all revealed religions and points out that each one has come from God.
