F ollo w in g the intrasquad swim meet, Sandy's waterpolo team josted a match with the C entennial w aterp olo team After having Io6t three matches and a second place tournament trophy to the Centennial team, the Sandy team was psychologically ready for a win. which they got In the first game the Sandy zone defense worked perfectly holding the Centennial team to only five goals, less than half the final score of the previous m atches O utstanding a ll- to u rn am en t g oalie, Alan Nippert, made several nice saves to help keep the Cen tennial score down The fast breaking Sandy offense lead by co-captains Steve Lindsey and Phil Cain, moved the ball down the pool with great speed and precision ball handling Scoring for the Sandy team was Steve Roth with three goals, Phil Cain with two goals, Steve Salisbury with one goal, and Dan York with one goal Outstanding defensemen and bll h and lers w ere Ken Haselwander.
