The Edie Adams Cut’n Curl in the Gresham Mall is one of nearly 200 such operations in th e U n ited S ta te s , Hill reported, adding that “because of our extensive operation throughout the United States we are able to keep abreast o f th e d e v e lo p m e n ts in t e c h n iq u e s , serv ice and styling.” An innovation that has proved most popular at Edie Adams Cut’n Curl is the Sugar and Spice salon-actually a salon within a salon. Sugar and Spice is for teen-agers and younger, where the approach is geared to the desires and styles of the younger set. Zone Change Hearing Set A remonstrance hearing for a requested apartment zone change at the comer o f 242nd and Glisan Streets will be held Wednesday evening Aug 6, 8 p.m. in the Troutdale city hall. Frank Amato, owner o f a nine-acre parcel is seeking planning commission approval for a change from single-family r e sid e n tia l to apartment residential for half o f the property facing on 242nd Avenue.
