THURSDAY, JULY 21, 1955 THE SANDY POST Special Message To SANDY POST Readers-------------- The Sandy Post, since it went under new management April 1 has grown and grown. More subscribers, more news, more pictures and more adver tising. ' ’ I.,, During this coming week, vast new improvements will be made and we think the paper you will read next week will not only startle you but will be a pleasing improvement. The paper will be enlarged materially. New type faces have been added. Picture coverage will be greater. For greater reading ease, the news and ads will be departmentalized. In order to do these things and to better reflect the activities of the Sandy- Mountain area during the week, the paper will be distributed by mail on Friday with more news and more pictures. The news in The Sandy Post will be departmentalized for greater reading ease. A special section for society, sports, farm, business, and mountain area news has been set aside. REDESIGNED PAGES Page layouts in the New Post are now being revised to give you more news and more pictures on each page. MORE AND MORE PICTURES A system for getting newsworthy pictures from throughout the area has been set up. In addition to the extended picture coverage, glossy enlargements will be available. Watch for further announcements. A BIGGER SANDY POST The move to Friday will give you a more up-to-the-minute newspaper with more pages, more ads, more news and more pictures.
