Albert R. King., 58, Eagle Creek, who died at her home December 9. Interment was at the Forest Lawn cemetery at Gresham. The services were conducted by Earl King, Portland, at the Carroll Funeral Home in Gresh am. Mrs. Charles Evans was soloist. Fern Allen was born on May 23, 1892, in Conde, S. D. She was married to Albert Roy King on September 2, 1915, in Portland. She came to Portland when she was 6 years old, and moved to the Dover community near Eagle Creek 17 years ago. She was a . member of- Jehovah’s Wit nesses. Mrs. King is survived by her husband, a son, Ray A. King, Gresham; a daughter, Mrs. Jer ry Crone, and a sister, Miss Lora Allen, Portland. Pallbearers were E. H. Proud- foot, Frank A. Linden, Chester E. Snethen, Floyd D. Hamblen, Nels Pederson and M. Jeshersen. 1OOK. ’*OST. Death Claims A Resident Of Kelso Death claimed John Edward Daws, 71, a Kelso resident since 1943, ¡at his, honte December 10th. Funeral services were held/ at, the Carroll Funeral Home at Gresham last Thurs day with Rev. Howard Roberts officiating. Interment was conducted at the Sandy cemetery. Mr. Dawes was born Nov. 12, 1879, in Tennessee. He married Miss Irene Dye * in Claude, Tex., in 1926. He formerly lived in Albuquerque, N. M., and moved to the Kelso Community in 1943. He was a farmer and carpenter. Mr. Dawes was in the service in world war I., Survivors include his widow, a son, James E., Boring, and a daughter, Mrs. F. John, Gresh- ana. Pallbearers were R. W.
