BORING — Funeral services were held last Monday, July 18, 2:30 p. m. at the chapel of Car- roll Funeral Home, Gresham, for Nels Norquist, 55, who died at his home in Hillsview last Fri day, July 15. Mr. Norquist was born Septem ber 11, 1893, at McVille, North Dakota. He came to Colton, Or egon in 1909 where he married Lilly Johnson August 5, 1916. He lived on farms around Portland, Colton, McMinnville, Tillamook, and his present home site at Hills view. He is survived by his widow, Lilly; three children, Warren A., Gresham; els LeRoy, at home, and Norman Ray, Gresham; and- by two brothers Olaf, Portland; Lars, of Florence, and three grandchildren. Services were conducted by Rev. Urban Simmons, Portland and Carl A. V. Lund, Gresham. Solo ist was Thil Gran, accompanied by Mrs. Oscar Noreen, Gresham. Interment was in Forest Lawn, Gresham. The Har veys plan to move to Sandy with in the next two weeks. For the second time in the last Week, Adolph John Amstad, 24, Sandy, was arrested and fined for reckless driving in Gresham. Mr. Amstad was fined $300 and his license suspended except for bus iness driving. Mr. Amstad was one of several people who paid fines for reck less driving in Gresham last week to the tune of $423.
