were held last Monday, July 18,

Nels Norquist, 55, who died at
his home in Hillsview last Fri
day, July 15.
Mr. Norquist was born Septem
ber 11, 1893, at McVille, North
Dakota. He came to Colton, Or
egon in 1909 where he married
Lilly Johnson August 5, 1916. He
lived on farms around Portland,
Colton, McMinnville, Tillamook,
and his present home site at Hills
view.
He is survived by his widow,
Lilly; three children, Warren A.,
Gresham; els LeRoy, at home,
and Norman Ray, Gresham; and-
by two brothers Olaf, Portland;
Lars, of Florence, and three
grandchildren.
Services were conducted by Rev.
Urban Simmons, Portland and
Carl A. V. Lund, Gresham. Solo
ist was Thil Gran, accompanied
by Mrs. Oscar Noreen, Gresham.
Interment was in Forest Lawn,
Gresham.
