Butte Falls Cemetery News Hello to everyone! After a total knee replacement, I wanted to "Thank" the following Butte Falls Charter School students, teachers, drivers, etc., who took time out of their busy schedules to help me at the Butte Falls Cemetery. Mayor Linda Spencer helped me welcome the students when they arrived on May 17th at the cemetery. Teachers, Mary Casey and Shayna Brown arrived with 22 students in a bus driven by Srampa-bude. Buff Lawrence delivered and retrieved garbage cans and garden tools, etc. I also got to help some students locate family or a loved one who is in the ceme tery. With Memorial bay fast approaching, my goal was to place 64 flags on the Veterans graves. It was slow going but with the arrival of two more angels Audrey and Rebecca Mis- feldt ( Mom, Katie tool), we did it! I want to thank each and everyone who helps me. I can't forget to include Chris Bray and Mike Smeltz who are always willing to help when needed. Next year will be the 150th anniversary of the Butte Falls Cemetery and I have been working closely with Mayor Linda Spencer reviewing the many situations and questions that we have. We are currently working on a "Rules and Regulations" for the Cemetery. I want to invite you to come on down and take a stroll among the trees and the history of our little community. It is a peaceful place for contemplation. Karen Davis Sexton
