T h a t portion o f the streets and alleys, as depicted on the W est A ddition portion o f the plat o f B lu ff A dditions to B utte F alls, recorded in V olum e 1 a t P age 19 o f the plat records o f Jackson C ounty, O regon, and m ore particularly described as follow s: A ll o f that portion o f B luff S treet lying w e st o f the east boundary o f Lot 9 in B lock 22; all o f the portion o f P ine A ve n u e lying north o f the south boundary o f Lot 4 in B lock 21 and the south boundary o f Lot 12 in B lock 22; and all o f the 20 fo o t w ide alley lying w e st o f and adjoining L o t 6 in B lock 21 and running from the south boundary o f said Lot 6 north to B lu ff S treet.A re q u e st th a t the T ow n C ouncil initiate this vacation w as considered on A p ril 1 5 ,2 0 03 and the council, on its ow n m otion, initiated the re q u e st fo r vacating consistent w ith O R S 271.130 on A u g ust 2 6 ,2 0 0 3. T he real property affected by this vacation is described as B lock 21, Lots 4 ,5 & 6; B lock 22, Lots 9 ,1 0 ,1 1 & 12 o f the W e st B lu ff A dditions to the T ow n o f B utte F alls; further, o th er properties affected are those w ithin 200 fe e t on e ith e r side o f the street o r portion th e re o f proposed to be vacated and the land fo r a like lateral distance on either side o f the street fo r 4 0 0 fe e t along its co u rse beyond term inus o f the p a rt proposed to be vacated, co n siste n t w ith the provisions o f O R S 271.080. A ny o w n e r o f real property w ithin the affected area is entitled to com m ent on this proposed vacation, either by letter to the T ow n C ouncil or attendance at the public hearing. Y ou m ust state five (5) specific reasons w hy you are in fa vor o r opposed to this project, consistent w ith the statutory requirem ents so the T ow n C ouncil can respond, otherw ise you w ill not be able to appeal any decision th a t is m ade.
