Javert (Cody) is rem inded of the abnorm al strength of convict 24601, Jean Valjean (D avid), a parole breaker whom he has been tracking for years, but who, he says has just been recap- tured. Then at the court Valiean sees the inno- cent m an (Jam es G rieves) Being accused and confesses to being Valjean. O n Fantine's (Lou's} death bed Valjean prom ises Fantine he w ill find her daughter. Young C osette (Callie Adam s) has v been staying w ith tne Thenardies (Keith S tark < and Am anda N ew by) ,. who have been horribly abusing the child by ways of assigning her nu m erous and difficult chores w hile allowing their tw o 'ittle "daughters "Eponine and Azelm a (joli M fe ste 's; m em orization, practices, painting, building, try- ing on costum es, singing and pulling together during TEN SE m om ents m ade this a w orthw hile experience. W e have a w onderful group of stu- dents in our district and I am extrem ely proud of all of you. Thank you very m uch, S herry. is alm ost 1125 pages long C ondensingthis story into a play (please read the brief overview 'pro Yj^ad fY Jed Rowden} was not an easy task and therefore, this years production was a little m ore lengthy than usual. The first half of the plQ Y was around one and one/half hours and the second half was about forty minutes. There was also a fifteen m inute interm ission fo r refresh m ents. The second half of the play was filled w ith excitem ent, beautiful m usic and special ef- facts during the w ar scenes. W e hope that ev- anyone enjoyed our version of Les M iserables. The students have w orked very hard to m ake this production a success. Thank you to everyone who attended. In addition to the students referred to in the overview (C allie Adam s, Jessica Dunlap, R obert Facey, B rittney G orm an, Joli H obbs, David H oel, John H oel, Lou H oyer, C ody Kelley, Am anda N ew by, Stacy Sm ith, Dan S tark, and Keith S tark students who assisted behind the scenes, it is easy to see that the vast m ajority of our stu- dents w ere involved in this production.
