In o rd er th a t p resen t trad e conditions be not seriously in terfered with, it has been decided to do th is on a g ra d uated basis. B eginning the first M onday in S ep tem ber the ho u rs will be sh o rten ed fifteen m inutes each day, w ith th e ex ception of S aturday, thus reducing the tim e one h o u r an d fifteen m inutes per week. T h e second red u ctio n in tim e will be m ade th ree m o n th s later, D e cem ber 7, 1903; the ’hird reduction M arch 3. 1904. and the last June 2, 1904.
