Thank you, Fire Department How special was it to see our little kindergarten class and fire department on the front page of the Record-Courier. Yeah. I love to see our community and school kids working together. The kids love it and learn so much actually experiencing one on one learning. As adults we sometimes take so much for granted that we think kids know, but many times the ac tual "seeing and doing" is a much better learning tool. Thank you North Powder Fire Department. Breakfast Fun The library had its annual Groundhog Day Breakfast. Even though it was drizzly and windy several locals braved the weather and joined us for breakfast. Had good food and fun visiting. Thank you to Evan's Comer, North Pow der Truck Stop, Union Grocery, North Powder Motel, Safeway in Baker and LaGrande, Walmart and The Canned Food store in La Grande for their donations of food which helps make the breakfast a success.
