Charges can be amended or dismissed.) *** Sunday, Oct. 11 *A balding guy with a goatee was raising a ruckus with a petite gal with long dark hair in the 2000 block of Laurel Road at 6:13 p.m. Krystle Michelle Wilson had a misdemeanor warrant from Josephine County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) for initiating a false report. Wilson was cited to appear on Nov. 30 in lieu of arrest. Michael Peter Kolash was detained in Josephine County Jail (JCJ) for strangulation-domestic violence. *Folks in a white 2003 Pontiac and a fellow driving a Chevy pickup truck with a utility trailer were feuding in the 100 block of S. Redwood Hwy. at 8:15 p.m. The altercation abruptly ended when the bearded truck driver flashed a ‘silenced MAC-10 gun’ or Uzi that may or may not have been real. Monday, Oct. 12 *An outlaw with a warrant for probation violation was detained in JCJ following an arrest in the 100 block of S. Redwood Hwy. at 4:58 p.m. *Residents in the 500 block of Hummingbird Road were concerned when they heard gunshots at 9:58 p.m. They were not worried about the gal yelling at the top of her lungs because she screams all the time. Tuesday, Oct. 13 *A gal with long dark hair barged into a home in the 500 block of Sherwood Avenue. The agitated brunette dropped her belongings onto a couch and refused to leave until 12:58 a.m. The interloper was taken into custody after intruding at another home in the neighborhood. *A slender woman with a shotgun sought refuge in the 200 block of Raymond Street at 1:46 a.m. because I.V. GUNS & AMMO 541-592-3349 she thought people were trying to kill her. Shandy Powell was detained in JCJ for criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Kerby Avenue and Schumacher Street at 12:38 p.m. Harwood had a felony warrant from JCSO for probation violation for assault on a public safety officer, and another for failure to appear for unauthorized use of vehicle. There was a warrant from United States Marshall for assaultive resisting arrest, and charges of misdemeanor elude from a vehicle and third-degree escape were added to his list. Friday, Oct. 16 *Forster John Cooke, Jr. had a misdemeanor warrant from Curry County Sheriff’s Office when he was apprehended near Jubilee Park at 3:02 p.m. Cooke was cited and released to appear in Curry County Circuit Court Nov. 16 for failure to appear for third-degree theft. Saturday, Oct. 17 *Seth Len Myers was detained in JCJ following his arrest in the 200 block of N. Redwood Hwy. at 10:15 a.m. Myers was charged with possession of controlled substance- meth. Sunday 10/18/2020 6400 blk TAKILMA RD, Medical Emergency 600 blk CAVES HWY, Fire Assist to Public When creating a home escape plan, here are some important ideas to remember: Identify at least two ways out of each room. They can include doors and windows. If there are non-releasable security bars on bedroom windows, they should either be removed or replaced with releasable type bars. Draw your home escape plan showing each room of the home and directional arrows indicating how to escape from each room. Determine a meeting place outside the home where all occu- pants will gather once they have escaped. Make sure there is at least one working smoke detector on eve- ry floor of your home. Practice your home escape plan periodically so that everyone in your home is familiar with it.
