Charges can be amended or dismissed.) *** Monday, Sept. 4 *Scumburglars stole an estimated $300 worth of clothing from the Lions Club concession booth at Jubilee Park between 11 p.m. Sept. 3 and 6 a.m. Sept. 4. A report was filed for second-degree theft. Tuesday, Sept. 5 *On Sept. 1, a license plate was pilfered from a 2007 silver-colored Toyota pickup truck. The plate was found on a recovered stolen vehicle on Sept. 3, and returned to its rightful owner. *A dark blue 1987 Toyota Tercel was reported as missing from the 500 block of Walters Drive just hours before it was found, appropriately crashed at Jerry’s wrecking yard driveway. The Toyota sustained damage to shocks, axle, and steering after being driven through one ditch and landing in another at 29910 Redwood Hwy. A report was filed for unauthorized use of a vehicle. *It’s not bad enough that homeless people sleep at the front door of a church at 407 W. River Street. But the worshippers are afraid to attend mass because the messy transients are urinating on the church door. (Use a tree.) Wednesday, Sept. 6 *At 11 a.m. there were five people gathered around a white Ford pickup truck in the 100 block of S. Redwood Hwy. They were arguing with a shirtless guy who looked like he wanted to fight. When a fellow picked up a rifle out of the Ford, alert employees from the gas station stepped in and deescalated the situation. *A fellow with no shirt was waving a bunch of unlit flares near S. Redwood Hwy. and W. Lister Street at 12:18 p.m. Justin Taylor, 29, was detained in Josephine County Jail for disorderly conduct and probation office detainer. *A red 1994 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that had been stolen in April from Fortuna, California was recovered in the 600 block of Frederick Court at 12:56 p.m. A guy with a goatee, eyeglasses, and tattoos on his back, ran from a deputy. A report was filed for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of meth, and escape. *An intoxicated, tall blonde in a floral dress was holding a beer and a cane, and screaming in the 6400 block of Holland Loop at 2:07 p.m. Heidi Erickson, 32, I.V. Thursday, Sept. 7 *An apparently disturbed individual was rolling a rock near the Illinois Branch Library in the 200 block of W. Palmer Street at 1:33 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8 *A driver was issued a Federal citation for not tagging his wood near Redwood Hwy. and Draper Valley Road at 11:37 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 near Jubilee Park at 1:50 p.m. She was sitting in the back seat of a silver-colored Mazda, and the driver walked away. (Wonder why?) *Gun shots were heard coming from a campsite near Lone Mountain Road and Redwood Hwy. at 4:26 p.m. No one was injured, but folks wanted them to stop because they had kids with them, and they were worried that the campers were shooting in an unsafe manner. Sunday, Sept. 10 *A guy in the 200 block of N.
