(A health-conscious thief, no less.) *At 10 p.m. on Aug. 7, a fellow in the 5700 block of Holland Loop discovered folks stealing hay from his barn, and that was the last straw. They claimed that his sister-in-law hired them to remove the hay, but they unloaded the red Chevy pickup truck. She has video of the shirtless serenader. She filed a stalking order, but it had not yet been served. *At 10:47 a.m. a now not-so- friendly fellow in the 700 block of Althouse Creek Road was screaming and yelling that he was going to kill his neighbor in the middle of the night. *Between 11 p.m. on Aug. 8 and 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 9, a silver- colored Ford F-350 crew-cab pickup truck was stolen from the parking lot of Holiday Motel. The vehicle was equipped with tools and equipment worth thousands of dollars, as well as a cell phone booster and custom seat covers. A Husqvarna chainsaw and a 40- caliber Sig Sauer were also missing. A report was filed for unauthorized use of a vehicle, first-degree theft, and first-degree theft of a firearm. *Version #1: A driver in a maroon Toyota pickup truck was trespassing in the 400 block of S. Redwood Hwy. at 11:11 a.m. When a fellow reached into the truck to grab the motorist, the Toyota ran over his foot, so he threw a rock at the vehicle. Another caller provided a slightly different tale about a rock that broke his back window, but did not include the part about running over anyone’s foot. A deputy warned the first guy about his actions, and advised that he phone Josephine County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) regarding trespassing issues. If the Toyota’s driver is located, he will also be reprimanded for trespass and his behavior. *JCSO assisted with traffic control and alert notifications near a large fire in the 30000 block of Redwood Hwy. at 1:25 p.m. *A gal’s ex-boyfriend was at her place in the 300 block of S. Only to find out that the RV was locked, and she had the keys. He knew his wife could take care of herself because she is a retired lieutenant colonel. Sure enough, she was located safe and sound at 9:18 a.m. *At 9:15 a.m. a guy wearing black Carhartt trousers and a gray hat with an Oregon logo was trespassing in the 600 block of Caves Hwy. His partner-in-crime ran off, and he was escorted off the property by an armed individual. *The folks in the 9300 block of Takilma Road were feeling left out of the I.V.
