He claimed his sister’s boyfriend pulled a black pump-action shotgun on him Thursday night, and was trying to kick the brother and his daughter off the property at 10:46 a.m. Law enforcement advised of their options. *An ex-husband armed with a handgun was causing a disturbance at 10:58 a.m. in the 300 block of N. Hussey Avenue. He was angry because he was not allowed to visit his children, and was kicking the door and threatening to break windows. He drove away in a silver-colored Toyota Tacoma with Washington plates. The children’s mother was given information regarding a restraining order (RO). *The determined dad returned to the 700 block of Crooks Creek Road at 12:05 p.m. After talking with law enforcement, both parents agreed to stay separated and to go through proper channels without further disturbances. *A driver was warned of fire hazard because his vehicle was smoking badly at 1:06 p.m. near Echo Beach Campground. *A deputy checked on camps along the southeast side of the Eight Dollar Bridge River Access at 2:56 p.m. *Daniel Earl Putnam, 28, was arrested for misdemeanor driving while suspended (DWS) with an unregistered and uninsured vehicle. Redwood Hwy. He claimed that the driver was talking to himself, but there was a female with him in the blue BMW SUV. Sunday, July 2 *Between June 28 and July 1, an individual was worried about a felon from California who was allegedly buying and selling firearms illegally in the 17200 block of Redwood Hwy. The felon was reportedly operating a marijuana grow at the same location. The tipster had no direct knowledge, of course, but gathered the information from rumors and Facebook screenshots. The landlord shut off her water and moved her belongings from the house without her permission. She claimed that he promised to accept a HUD voucher, but because he has a marijuana grow, he refused the voucher as payment.
