The ISO has rated residences and business within five miles of any IVFD station as a class 4 and residences within 5-7 miles will receive a rating of 10W. This rating is a significant improvement from past ISO ratings and can potentially lead to a reduction in your fire insurance premiums. This is up to the individual insurance carrier. The im- proved ratings are due to shift based staffing from the volunteers, improvements made to fire apparatus and sustained water supply. The rating validates the increased level of fire protection that IVFD provides the community. IVFD wants to thank the volunteers and the Fire District Board for their support for making this significant change possible. 300 blk STEVENSON ST, Medical Emergency VISIT IVFD ONLINE AT ivfire.com or facebook.com/ivfire Dennis Hoke Fire Chief Illinois Valley Fire District Southern Oregon Sanitation Inc.
