Wednesday, May 19 *A man’s girl- friend wouldn’t leave a man’s Waldo Road resi- dence at 24 past midnight. Then she did, he said. *Michelle L. Dyer, 30, was ar- rested on Dick George Road un- der a California warrant charging perjury and fraud to obtain aid. *Damage was estimated at $336 after two windows were broken (again) at I.V. High. *A “suspicious person” reported at Waldo and Rocky- dale roads wasn’t located. *Angela M. Stiles, 19, was cited on a charge of careless driving at the top of Hay’s Hill. *Four tran- sients on a church parking lot con- cerned a woman, but she was going to ask them to leave and seek help if necessary. *It was re- ported that a “Stop” sign had been down for sev- eral days at Takilma and Dick George roads. *At the top of Hay’s Hill a man thought that vehi- cle backfire noises were gunshots, and he was afraid until it was determined what they were. *After two IVHS bicyclists reported that some- one tried to run them off the road and threatened them with a base- ball bat, the mother of the suspect was to have him con- tact a deputy asap. *Harassment was complained about on Kerby Avenue at 9:56 a.m. *Some nut broke into a place in the 28000 block of Redwood Hwy., broke a coffee pot, cooked some food, and then took items including a gallon of mustard, a 5-pound block of cheese and toilet paper. *At the I.V. Thursday, May 20 *“Help me, help me!” was be- ing yelled by a man in the 5000 block of Caves Hwy. at 1:03 a.m. Turned out he did- n’t feel good and was trying to get into a friend’s house. *Upon check- ing a car with a sleeping woman in it at 8:12 a.m. on Redwood Hwy. in Selma, a deputy found that she (her car) had run out of gas, and she was awaiting her hus- band. *A white “fleshy” substance on a front porch on Junction Avenue turned out to be something the cat dragged home, probably a piece of chicken. *Because of a high-speed pursuit at 10:37 p.m. from CJ southbound, trying to catch a wanted felon, no deputy was avail- able at 11:32 p.m. when a woman phoned another woman and said, “I think someone shot someone.” *Although children were said to be the culprits in a 911 hang-up call from W. River Street, it turned out that two adults had engaged in a “verbal.” *On Honeybee Lane a woman vol- untarily underwent a mental hold. *Theft of a red-colored boy’s bicycle was logged at Evergreen Ele- mentary. Friday, May 21 *Bolts had been removed and a gate opened at the Kerby Landfill, a man said at 8:37 a.m. The vandals might have broken into the model air- plane club, he said. *On Takilma road, a woman complained at 9:55 a.m. that people nearby choose to rev vehicle engines in the wee hours of the morning for “45 minutes to an hour,” disrupting her sleep. *A driver was warned for failure to signal 100-feet before a turn in the 500 block of Red- wood Hwy. at 10:29 a.m. *Mark D. Pat- terson, 38, was cited on charges of DWSI, failure to carry proof of in- surance, and ex- pired tags; and warned for an ob- scured plate.
