I had a house full of col- ored eggs, and I really needed to get rid of them: No, really it’s a family business. My father, Bunny Sr., taught me the ropes as his father did. Adults-$5 Children under 11- $2.50 *Waffles *Pancakes *Biscuits & Gravy *Ham *Sausage *Eggs *Juice *Coffee *Tea or Milk Do you live here? No, I have homes all over the world. I tend to prefer here though, for the climate and the people. Any little bunnies in the picture? Yes, I’m a grandbunny. I had two little bunnies that have grown up and have little bunnies of their own. Do you hop wherever you go? No, that’s Peter Cottontail. I prefer my bike or a scooter. Have you always lived in a hole in the ground? No, I used to live in a briar patch, until Br’er Rabbit moved in -- all 300 of his kids. He was a lousy house- keeper anyway; kept leaving tar everywhere. I prefer the condo I bought next door to Bugs Bunny. Why do you give away Easter eggs; why not Easter carrots or Easter lettuce? Well, I already eat carrots 364 days a year, and be- sides, not many kids like carrots. What do you like best about Easter? I love it when the little ones come running, arms open wide, and give me a hug. I can never get too many hugs. How do you choose what color to paint each egg? It depends on what I eat. Sometimes they’re orange, sometimes green. Don’t ask how I make the blue ones. Do you have any hobbies? I like to weave baskets. Dancing is also fun; the Bunny Hop is my favorite. Does it take long to weave all those Easter bas- kets? Not at all. I’m quick as a bunny. How do you find time to deliver the baskets? I freeze time. It’s hard to explain. I just think it, and it happens. I have a cousin, Harvey, who can stop time by just looking at his watch, but I haven’t figured out quite how he does that yet. Who poses for the chocolate bunnies? My cousin. What do you do during the off-season? I like to hop on down to Mexico with my friends, Bugs Bunny, Daffy and Tweety. Of course, every time we use Bugs’ directions, we miss that left turn at Albu- querque. What’s your favorite ice cream? Rainbow sherbet. It reminds me of all the wonderful colors of Easter. Grants Pass Dept. of Public Safety Fire Division responded at 11:02 p.m. to the rear of Riverside Inn Convention Center. Fire- fighters extinguished a blazing hay bale without visible structural damage. At 11:25 p.m. another alarm was sounded, for Goodwill, 735 S.W. Fifth St. Furniture against a wall appeared to have been pur- posely set afire. The fire “caused sig- nificant damage to the building and destroyed some furniture,” said the fire division. Firefighters noted that at 11:55 p.m. a report was received of two boys in the area of S.W. “K,” “L” and Alder streets. Police searched the area, but did not locate the boys. They are sought for questioning. They are believed to be 15 years old, and were wearing sweatshirts; one with shorts, the other with long trousers.
