Two Rivers Zone was recently awarded funds to improve the deterio- rating water and septic system at Grayback Campground. Friday, Jan. 17 *Janey L. Dewitte was cited on a charge of exceeding the maximum speed at 11:05 a.m. in the 400 block of S. Red- wood Hwy. *In the 200 block of S. Old Stage Road a man requested op- tions regarding a dis- pute with his land- lord. *A woman in the 24000 block of Red- wood Hwy. reported finding a baggie of what might be a con- trolled substance. *A woman in the 3000 block of Westside Road re- ported being as- s ault ed at the Pomeroy Dam on Jan. 13, between 11 p.m. and midnight. * Lucus J o hn Brown, 21, was ar- rested on a fugitive warrant from Trinity County Calif., and charged with proba- tion violation, in the 1800 block of Lake- shore Drive, at 3:26 p.m. *There was a 911 hang-up call in the 200 block of Watkins Street at 3:47 p.m. *A man in the 100 block of Hogue Drive reported ap- proximately $5000 in cement tools taken from his shed. *After having a seizure in the 24000 block of Redwood Hwy., a man was transported to Three Rivers Community Hospital at 5:26 p.m. *A restraining order was served a man in the 100 block of Iron Way at 6:06 p.m. *In the 7000 block of Caves Hwy. a man reported find- ing his wife uncon- scious after she had taken pain pills. She was pronounced de- ceased at the scene. *After leaving a bar in Downtown CJ, a woman with dark hair was reported speeding through town at 10:38 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 *John M. Wil- liams, 16, was ar- rested on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol at 1:24 a.m., in the 400 block of S. Redwood Hwy. *There was a 911 hang-up call from the 200 block of Ollis Road. Apparently a woman was having trouble hanging up her phone. *In an continuing property line dispute, a woman in the 100 block of Hogue Drive complained that her neighbors padlocked a chain across her driveway. *A man in the 300 block of Burch Drive reported that a car trailer had been taken from his prop- erty without permis- sion. *In the 300 block of Pine Cone Drive, a man was not able to be available for a deputy, so his 20- minute move out was not used. *When a nurse was unable to reach her patient by phone in the 500 block of Caves Hwy., she re- quested a welfare check. All was well. *Assistance was rendered to an uncon- scious man in the 300 block of Caves Hwy. at 5:43 p.m. *For some un- known reason, an alarm sounded at 7:15 p.m. at I.V. Building Supply. *A woman on Hogue Drive reported that someone had removed two cell phones from her home. Sunday, Jan. 19 *At 3:15 a.m., a mother requested a welfare check on her daughter in the 100 block of S. Old Stage Road, after the daughter phoned her to complain about her boyfriend. The daughter and boy- friend were OK and separated for the rest of the night. *A man in the 800 block of Hay’s Cut Off, reported an- other man, possibly intoxicated taking off in someone else’s car at 5:10 a.m. Then the guy arrived back home. *Some idiot used Dairy Queen’s letter- ing to put up a taste- less racist remark on the store’s billboard. The store’s manager requested deputy contact so they could get the lettering down ASAP. *After finding his car shot up, a man in the 5000 block of Rockydale Road complained. He heard shots during the night, but didn’t real- ize his vehicle was the target. *A stop sign was pulled completely out of the ground at Lau- rel Road and N. Old Stage Road. *A woman in the 6000 block of Westside Road re- ported people four- wheeling on her property. They spun doughuts before they left at 3:24 p.m. *After hearing shots fired in the 6500 block of Deer Creek Road, a man complained at 3:48 p.m. *After seeing a woman driving all over the road, a man at the Illinois Valley Golf Club reported her at 5:26 p.m. She was pulled over and warned by a deputy about her driving. *Gary Wayne Rankin, 39, was ar- rested on charges of manufacture of a con- trolled substance (MCS), possession of a controlled sub- stance (PCS) methamphetamine, at 8:57 p.m. in the 300 block of Kerby Mainline Road. He was also cited on charges of DWS and driving uninsured. *Daniel Moline Wylie, 27, was cited on charges of DWS, and driving without insurance, at 11:42 p.m., near the I.V. Substation.
