Chairman’s Report Restoration Thank you to the Restoration Com- mittee, the Tribal Council, Tribal Elders, the Pow-Wow Committee and our staff for making it a great event. Resort. It is hoped that as we begin the New Year, Congress will have a plan to replace sequestration with a real budget. Tribal elections Tribal Council elections take place in February! If you aren’t registered to vote, you have time to register and vote for the candidate of your choice. Lauren has been the Siletz Youth Mental Health counselor in the Portland/ Salem area since May 2009. We would like to take this opportunity to give thanks to a valued member of the CTSI family, Lauren Patterson. We are sad to announce the Youth Mental Health (YMH) program grant ended in Decem- ber 2013. The YMH program provided a range of mental health services for Siletz Tribal members ages 8 to 18. Services included adventure-based counseling, horse therapy, challenge courses, white- She has touched so many of us who have worked with her.
