We have been giving out refrigera- tor magnets with the “Ten Commandments for a Healthy Heart” printed on them. As you know, exercise is a large part of a healthy lifestyle, so I have been look- ing for articles (see below left) to promote the recommended 20 minutes a day, at least three days a week, routine. Our clients also have access to recipes for diabetics and weight loss while we try to encourage them to use the “Healthy Plate” for all their family meals. It is the time of year for winter storms like high winds, flooding, snow and ice. We ask our clients who pick up at the Salem warehouse to please be aware that we must travel two hours to get there. If the weather is bad, we may not make it through on the scheduled date. It is very important for you to update your contact information for your file in case we need to call to reschedule. We also deliver to some clients who cannot make it to the warehouse and it is very important that you contact us in plenty of time if you want your food delivered. We do not have the time or resources to contact each client to ask if they want their food, so it is your responsibility to contact us. August e. Redlinger, Sr. – 1940-2012 On Jan. 11, 2013, August E. Redlinger Sr., lieutenant commander, U.S. Coast Guard Retired, passed away at age 72. He was the beloved husband of Deanna (Miller) Redlinger; devoted father of August Redlinger Jr., Mathew Redlinger, Lori Redlinger Propst, Dené Bowen and the late Raymond Redlinger; loving Pap-Pap to grandchildren Brandi and husband Josh, Brittany, Nicholas, Erika, Lauren, Christopher, Kyle, Olivia and Emma; and to great-granddaughters Aleigha, Kali and Natalie.
