King publishes article on Indian gaming, Native identity in law review New Babies! Matthew King recently published Indian Gaming and Native Identity in volume 30 of the Chicano/a-Latino/a Law Review, a publication of the UCLA School of Law. The article presents the significant developments in the law governing Indian gaming with a view to assessing gaming’s politicization of Native identity. Thanks to a generous agreement with the publisher, the article is available for free download from the Social Science Research Network (papers.ssm.com/sol3/ papers .cfm?abstract_id=2018751). Siletz Tribal members are welcome to contact the author by clicking on the contact information on the SSRN site. King is deputy attorney general for the State of California. He lives in Los Angeles.
