First Run for Wellbriety a success for runners, volunteers The first 5K Walk/Run for Wellbriety took place in Siletz on Sept. 18. Thirty-three registered runners and numerous volunteers helped make this a successful event. Thank you: Siletz Tribe, Siletz Clinic, Behavioral Health Program, CEDARR, Planning Department, Diabetes Program, Healthy Traditions Project, Education Program, City of Siletz, Siletz Valley Partnership, Pepsi and Emerald Springs. Special thanks to our Tribal Elders who came and supported the runners and to the Tribal Elders who participated in the walk! The overall top runners in each of nine categories received water bottles.
