New monthly slot tournament starts for seniors Senior slots aren’t just once a month anymore! Added to the regular Senior Slot Tournament on the first Tuesday of every month is the brand new Senior Sunrise Slot Tournament on the last Tuesday of every month. For a small $5 registration fee, guests age 55 and older will receive a $7 voucher to the Euchre Creek Deli and entrance to the tournament with more than $1,000 in prizes. Sign-ups start at 6:30 a.m. at the Win ner’s Circle. Tournaments are limited to the first 100 to register. Get all shook up with Ultimate Elvis® Tribute Artist Contest at the beach The legacy of Elvis Presley lives on at Chinook Winds Casino Resort on July 1-3 as Elvis tribute artists from across the United States and the Pacific Northwest compete to see who captures the essence of the King of Rock-‘n’-Roll. Contestants in The Ultimate Elvis®Tribute Artist Contest at Chinook Winds will be judged on the “best rep resentation of the Elvis legacy” in talent, appearance, performance, stage presence and overall tribute. The winner then will compete in the 2011 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Con test semi-finals in Memphis during Elvis Week in August. The Ultimate Elvis® Tribute Artist Contest at Chinook Winds Casino Resort is officially licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. and is one of more than 15 such contests and festivals held throughout the United States and Canada. Four rounds of competition will take place at Chinook Winds over the three days and tickets are only $10 per round. 2 p.m. and the other at 8 p.m. The final round will take place July 3 at 3 p.m. Doors to the venue open 30 minutes prior to each round. This is an age-21-and-older ticketed event with a no-host bar and food court. Tickets can be reserved for one or all four rounds.
