Overall, the Siletz Tribe has distributed more than $7.3 million thi ough the STCCF and other Tribal resources. Denise continued to work on a ribbon shirt she started earlier this year in a class taught by Tina Retasket. The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians hosted its quarterly Tribal Charitable Con tribution Fund distribution and reception event May 1 at the Chinook Winds Hotel. The Tribe has shared more than $5 million throughout the state of Oregon since the inception of the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund and awarded $286,240 in charitable donations this quarter. The charitable distribution covers cultural activities like the support that goes to 13 Grandmothers of Grants Pass. The $17,000 shared with them covers expenses like lodging, meals and transportation to important cultural events and activities.
