Basketball | Tournament Calling All Coaches and Players March 27-29, 2009 • Siletz, Oregon | | e | | । | | I It s that time again! The Siletz Tribal Youth Living Empowered Committee I is planning its Fifth Annual S.T.Y.L.E. Coed Basketball Tournament, held in e Siletz, Ore. Teams from Oregon and Washington have partieipated in this annual i alcohol-free, tobacco-free and other drug-free event. A dedicated group of volunteers and Tribal program partners have worked all | year to raise money through various fund-raisers. The group also seeks donations e year-round to support various leadership and sports activities for youth. Registration Fee: $200 Registration Deadline: March 6, 2009 Each team needs to include four girls and four boys with the option of one = e boy or girl non-Native alternate. Prizes are given to MVP, All-Stars and first, 1 | second and third place. Winter Hawks Invite Tribal Members to Game The Portland Winter Hawks ice hockey team invites up to 100 Siletz Tribal members to its last home game of the season on March 15. The team will supply 100 free tickets for the game, which starts at 5 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum. We will send the list of names to the Winter Hawks office and your tickets will be available at the Will Call Booth on the night of the game. TICC Board Has Vacancies Resumes are being accepted for the Tenas Illahee Childcare Center Board of Directors. Currently, there are two vacant board positions.
