Spring Co-Ed Basketball Tournament held at Siletz Valley School on April 25-27 was a showcase for talented, young athletes from throughout the Northwest. The theme of this year's tourna ment was “Play Healthy, Live Healthy. Be Healthy.” “We want to thank Siletz Valley School Principal Robert Line, Lourdes Jackson and the Siletz Valley School for allowing the tournament to be held in the big gym,” said event coordina tor volunteer and tournament board member DeAnna Pearl. “It was a per fect location for the tournament." Teams competed in age brackets ot 4'h-6lh grades, 7,h-9‘h grades and 10*h- 12lh grades with teams consisting of boys and girls. The teams came from Chemawa Indian School in Salem; the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs; the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde; Sequim, Washington; and the local Siletz area.
